So probably you aren’t asking yourself about what I could have been doing this last week. That’s ok, I like talking to myself.
The first thing was overcoming the frustration which caused that bug in my PHP coding past sunday. So I changed a bit the language, and I’ve been coding a Flux Capacitor driver for Windows XP in FORTRAN 77. The bad news were that ACME messed up my delivery, so I was unable to test the Flux Capacitor driver before that section of my hard disk travelled to 1972.
I’ve also been watching some quality cinema: now that El Fari is dead, I’ve been watching the complete filmography of Raphael. Yes, I take drugs. I also discovered Jesus. Jesus is a dust ball I found below my bed. I named it Jesus honoring one of the most historically important historical characters of our historic history: Jesus Alou, the baseball player.
I’ve also been very interested in sports: footing, weight lifting, swimming and curling. I’ve kept my interest in avoiding them like plague. Thanks to that, I’m getting close to get a disability due to overweight. Related to this is my new do-it-yourself design: a new bed. I’ll put it next to my current bed, so my belly can rest peacefully when I’m trying to sleep in my side.
The good thing about my sleeping habits is that nightmares are gone. I’ve spent the most part of the nights in these last ten years having nightmares. Now that I can’t sleep, I don’t have them. Isn’t it great?
I’ve also had a great week regarding women. Not a single one rejected me. That is a fact. Talking about women, I saw a chainsaw at Carrefour for only 39.95 euro. But supposedly I’m saving for a circular saw and a printer. I’ve been with computers 20 years, and I still haven’t had a printer, ever. First I thought of making it of wood, like the monitor frame I made, but the bubble ink jets are a bit quirky to do just with a cheap drill and a screwdriver. I would need at least some tap too.
And if right now you’re asking yourself why I said all these things, I’m telling you: the author of the book I’m reading now is Cordwainer Smith.
