Me gustaría comentar la adición a mi blogroll de LaRedDeCaronte.tk, el sitio de mi amiga Gemma, donde habla de los libros que ha publicado o que está escribiendo, además de algunos cuentos cortos, y un foro donde se puede hablar de literatura y el arte de superar el bloqueo del escritor ^_^ En cualquier caso, siempre es interesante que una amiga sea una de mis escritoras favoritas. Un día de estos releeré su ópera prima, La Red De Caronte, y escribiré una larga y detallada crítica. Hasta entonces, disfrutad de y participad en su página.

Eight Below (2006)

Just a quick note about Eight Below, a movie produced by Disney in 2006. While I don’t think the movie is that great or relevant to warrant a full review, I thought I should mention it. It has wonderful snow scenery, and a beautiful animal story with eight dogs. I think the movie could have been better with less human scenes and more dog action. If you like huskies and malamuts in Antartica, then this movie is for you.

Flash Element TD

This is a new little game called Flash Element TD, based on the Tower Defense thinga for Warcraft III. I like games like this: easy to learn, hard to master. You just need to kill all the creatures which walk in the path, before they go out. You can place several kinds of towers to kill them. You buy towers with gold, you get new towers with wood (once each seven levels), and actually very little more. The latest greatest internet craze since poking the penguin.

My new monitor

I got my new monitor, finally! So I had this 17″ CRT monitor, which was very good, but in the last year was kind of wrecking - unstable image, narrowed image, scratched surface, and excessive brightness in the last days. It was screaming for retirement. To replace it, I got a LG L1919S-SF. (more…)

A good movie if you can read between lines and see the spot-on analogy with the current society. Intense, interesting, paranoid, still with many flaws, but a good choice for many reasons. (more…)
