Con lo que deduzco que tu Ortografía, no es perfecta 
Si buscás en google: Elije, el mismo buscador dirá: Quizás quiso decir: elige
Sin duda alguna, es Elige. Al ser un verbo irregular, cambia al ser conjugado (por ejemplo) en el presente de la primera persona del singular:
Yo eliJo.
De ahí la confusión.
