No, I’m not talking about pills again. Yesterday I went to Zamora, and I’m already back. Less than 36 hours away. Still, it has stressed me a lot to go to that old house, seeing it almost empty. Also the contact with crowds and family hasn’t been very relaxing, and being trapped in a bus for six ours wasn’t pleasant either. In any case, I got a few nice things from the trip, specially old things which were of my grandparents.

When I have something to say, I don’t want to talk. When I want to talk, I don’t have anything to say.

The teddy bear is a girl’s best friend. She hugs, kisses and pampers him. Carries him to bed with her, sleeps with him. At 3am, she whispers pillow secrets into his ear because she knows she can trust him. And even imagines that he talks back with great advices. Whenever a pijama party happens, she proudly introduces him to her gorgeous friends and tells to all of them how cute and good friend her teddy bear is. But she fucks with her Antonio Banderas pumping doll. (more…)

The only electric outlet near the head of my bed is behind the trunk, so I had to put a special plug, the thin and close to the wall kind, with an extra wire which would come out of the back of the trunk, so I could plug the night lamp, the phone charger, etc. (more…)

Another year the Big Week of Bilbao is coming. Cons: I can’t drink alcohol, I don’t want to be in the middle of a crowd, I don’t want to be with anyone (except those girls in my latest dreams). Pros: The Pogues are coming. Hmmmmmmmm…

Moloko is a duo who always surprise me. The eclectic taste shown by Mark Brydon when composing and producing the music, mixed by the strangely attractive voice and singing style of Roisin Murphy, always have shown originality and quality in good amounts. The last song that has catched my attention is Where is the what if the what is in why?, with strangely hypnotic rhythm and lyrics, with a music video which is part 70’s psychodelia and part experimental japanese animation. With Nancies. (more…)

DaisyWorld is a model developed by Lovelock & Watson to illustrate the Gaia hypothesis, demostrating that considering the Earth as a self-regulated super-organism was at least plausible. While I don’t agree wholeheartedly to the Gaia theory, this DaisyWorld explanation in flash looks very cool.

This summer, more precisely on the middle of July, I made 3 years using eMule. I was planning on making this post on the anniversary day, not to brag about what I’ve done with eMule and what not, but more about showing what’s a normal usage of eMule over the years. (more…)

Yesterday I designed and printed a sheet to place in the spine of another rigid DVD albums. I had one of these Hofmann rigid albums for CDs and DVDs for years, but I couldn’t find another one until this thursday when I saw one while searching for my new printer. They’re 9€ and can handle 120 discs or covers. I like them more than the other semi-rigid archivers with zip and poor sewing, for more or less the same proportional price. The rigid albums, on the other side, have independent sheets (for eight discs) in a ring structure. (more…)

Having a WordPress theme in your own language is quite easy, if the theme supports internationalization. Actually, internationalization, or i18n, is not the same as localization, or l10n. Internationalization is the process to make a piece of software ready to support localization. Localization itself is the process to translate a piece of software (which has passed i18n) to a specific language or locale. (more…)
