The joys of public health system

Today I’ve been at the doc, I have a problem which needs a solution and the solution is surgery (nothing severe, just a bump in my shoulder). The solution includes a surgeon visit the next month, so probably surgery will take place in 2008. Hopefully.

It’s October already, or again, depending on how you look at it… And my birthday is coming. I can safely say that my past birthday was one of the best days of my life, and the best day of 2006. However, this year I’m not very well, and I have very clear that I don’t want anything. So, if you’re reading this, spread the word: I don’t want parties, I don’t want cakes, I don’t want gifts, I don’t want drinks, I don’t want phone calls. Let me repeat it: don’t buy me gifts for my birthday, no matter what you think or want. For me, that day could perfectly not exist, at least this year.
