Well, yesterday I got two good news. First one is that I weighted myself with my nurse, but the scale didn’t show good results. Once the nurse got off the scale, the results improved. In my first month of change of eating habits, I’ve lost 10kg (22 pounds). Not bad - what the heck, it’s awesome ^_^ Actually I’ve not made big changes, it’s not a strict diet or anything. Avoid unhealthy food and eat healthier and cleaner, eat fish once a day and don’t eat bread, and distribute meals in five times without eating stuff in the middle.
Also, an important part was abandoning sedentary life. That doesn’t mean to start exercising until looking like HULK SMASH. It’s simply to walk a bit every day; although in my case it mean walking for two hours at top speed until literally soaking the t-shirt with sweat.
The other good news is that I have a job. My first serious and non-freelance job in 9 years. Two job interviews which I think went well; first they called me for cashier in Media Markt. Two nice persons attended me in a long interview. I might have insinuated that having me as cashier was a waste, or maybe they realized that I had better potential; the thing was that they passed my curriculum vitae to another section where they knew they needed someone with my capacity. So yesterday another person called me for a second interview, which although somehow more cumbersomely, also went well.
So I start this monday in the Technical Assistance Service of Media Markt in Barakaldo; 40 weekly hours for three months as a test; and I’m sure that I’m going to do it well. I have to confess that I’m nervous and excited, that’s why I woke up so early ^_^
Even so, I’ll still try to put my articles about books and films when I can. ¡Take care!
