Well yes, the rumours are true. I’ve bought an electric guitar, an Academy 602 B black and white of stratocaster style. I don’t even have an amp (yet) but it’s enough to learn playing by myself (and a little book).

Well, one of the things I don’t do is update this blog ^_^ But I’ve been busy designing and designing. Mainly playing with Inkscape and other toys, making logos, business cards and WordPress-based websites. Interestingly enough, WordPress works excellently as a non-blog, generic CMS. (more…)

Moviez, again

After more than 2 years of not updating my list, here I am back again at it. This time I’ve used the IMDb.com list management system, which allows for a complete integration between the IMDb data and the list of movies. I’ve divided the lists into Blu-rays, DVDs, and DivX/Xvid movies. Of course this doesn’t contain any personal data except my own ratings; no date of acquisition or other fancy stuff. LOTRO - free or not

My last addiction regarding games has been The Lord Of The Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar (aka LOTRO), the MMORPG version of the literary classic and encumbered cinematographic trilogy of The Lord Of The Rings. Because who will believe that someone would make one of the most complex and ambitious MMORPG compared to the original source, if that source weren’t polished until shining due to one of the most ambitious sagas in cinema history. But I’ll beter get back to the original direction and I’ll talk about LOTRO. (more…)

No, it’s not that House M.D. episode. It’s a set phrase, or a saying. Maybe a quite, an adagio, a cutural reference which is very common. Actually, there are versions of it referring to the same concept in the majority of languages and cultures. It’s a constant, which comes actually from the fact that we humans are social animals, and societies reflect very well the defects of their individuals. (more…)
