Comeback

Hello everyone, again. After months of laziness, I’ve decided to put up the old site while I develop the new one. Actually I haven’t even started it. Lots of changes in my life, related directly or indirectly to Pi In The Sky, have prevented me from even thinking about what skin I will use. For example, my main development platform is Ubuntu now. I’ve not even set up the LAMP server to do the stuff.

I hope the site is not too broken, nor that it’s hacked again due to another unsanitized database input in some random plugin… At least I have some new articles to put up in the meanwhile.

Hacked!

Well, it seems that someone has found an exploit somewhere in my site, and it’s using my space and bandwidth to add up to their link farm. It’s nothing severe, probably a WordPress or WP plugin exploit with file injection and some dead chicken voodoo. I should upgrade WP but I don’t feel like doing it now, between the shoulder and the ankle, I’m not in the right state of mind for some coding.

And my PS2 controller broke while/because playing We Love Katamari. Argh.

Elige or Elije?

According to the Conjugation Practical Manual Larousse, a.k.a. “Larousse of the Conjugation”, by Ramón García-Pelayo y Gross (what a name), Fernando García-Pelayo y Gross, (the bro, I suppose) y Micheline Durand (I don’t think she’s the sis), 1996 edition with ISBN 84-8016-026-8, it’s elige, with G like in garlic. Know that when I went to reserve this domain, I had the same doubt, since in The Rise Of Endymion it appears with another translation, and I had to look the conjugation manual to be sure if it was with J or G. If you’ve noticed, I’ve been more active lately. I’m feeling a bit better, and I was really bored. I’ve written a little bit, and also started to post old stuff I wrote years ago. I also made another page about the site with some unfrequently questioned answers.

I sold my soul

I just signed as affiliate of my host, MochaHost. I’ve placed a page about them in the About section, and a banner in the sidebar. I don’t think I’ll ever earn a buck, but maybe with enough time, it will allow me to pay part of my internet expenses. Not something I’m proud of, but somewhat needed and useful for me. Sorry for the ugliness!
